Yes, but I don't know how. Each country would have to trust a hundred other countries.

The world's most iconic military drones are on their way out. The US officially ended Predator operations three years ago and last year announced it would wind down production of Reapers faster than expected.

The classic Reaper drone is basically a huge glider with a fancy lawn mower motor strapped to the middle. That makes them target practice for an advanced air force like China's or Russia's.

Now, ISIS is largely defeated and hunting terrorists across the planet has lost its lustre.
Military planners are looking to the conflicts of the future.

Sounds like "military planners" are, again, just trying to find a new purpose that could justify their existence.

If you make a cleaning robot that's actually smart,  its actually smarter at fighting as well.

To stop autonomous weapons means to stop a.i. in totality,  a hammer can build a house, but it also has a form of misuse as well.

Welcome to the forum Magnus!

It will be a neat trick to find the balance between making machines intelligent enough to get the job done, but not so intelligent that they get bored and start causing mischief. Who watched "Zima Blue," an episode of "Love, Death & Robots" on Netflix?

Thankyou for the welcome,  I have an Ai project of my own,  I will share it when the time comes. (more work to do.)

I'm a big fan of Ai and sci-fi in movies,  love sonic and astro boy, but I haven't tried netflix before, im stuck in the past a bit, I haven't really watched a movie excitedly since fight club ages ago.f

Love Death Robots was really cooool. Zima blue was the story about the swimming pool "guy", right?

Yep, Fight Club. "Sure. Loose the tie.

So you think autonomous weapons are a good idea? Or do you believe human beings all love guns as americans do? (which would mean politicians wouldn't fight against autonomous weapons at a global scale)

Its a huge mistake,  just like making fire-arms,     which makes a.i. in general a mistake to me, because it all could be used as a weapon.

The same computer vision system that recognizes buckets of water and detergent bottles, could identify enemy targets.

The same motor development system that puts the detergent in the bucket of water could get someone in a headlock.
