This might seem a bit far fetched at the present but I think it's a wide open
field to assist healthcare professionals with invalids, shut-ins, disabled, etc.

Very clever.  I think you are right, there are a lot of possibilities there.  It made me think of a forklift but for people.

They seem to have a robot for every occasion over there.

However even if new generations become ever more comfortable with robots/androids whilst growing up with them in their living space, it'll be interesting to see the extent of trust we put in them. In terms of healthcare though, with recent news in England about healthcare workers who have harmed their patients, I think this could be a very formulated and notable way to look after people. I do believe in employing emotion in devices, which would in theory imply that actions are influenced by bias, however even without caring emotionally for patients, I don't see why we couldn't rely heavily on these robots. Intelligent systems are heavily involved in medical decision making anyway!

I sure factory workers and bosses had raised eyebrows when the first auto factory robot welders and painters were started.

People are usually apprehensive at first about change but eventually settle in to a more comfortable level.

As the robots numbers and uses grow so will our trust...by small steps at first then a greater amount until they are almost commonplace.

Give them time....
