Yep, I think it was called Robot Wars.
Definitely a who can build the fastest, strongest, baddest bot in the bunch!! Smash 'em, crash 'em robots!

Robot Wars was a great program...but imagine a bigger robot with their capabilities with an AI mind controlling them and not a remote control ???

Right!! That's what I really would have like to have seen. Truly autonomous robots, programmed with a search & destroy / survival brain. Thinking on it's own without radio controls! That would seperate the grain from the chaff!  afro.gif

I wasn't thinking of Robot Wars, but that was great,. This program was on the sensible side, but the robot they had climbing ropes was amazing, it moved like a monkey.  I think they should arm it with a chainsaw and let it take on Matilda.
