Chat bot wars lets you create your own chat bot, and train it through learning, correction, and editing its responses to questions and keywords. No programming is required, but powerful scripting options are available including Self (JavaScript), and AIML.
Chat bot wars provides a library of 3D animated avatars, and lets you build your own avatar using images, video and media. Speech, and speech recognition are supported with many different languages and voice options.
Chat bot wars uses the Bot Libre open source SDK, and is hosted by Bot Libre. You can also access your bots on botlibre.com and have access to more advanced training options and can connect your bot to social media.

At the bottom of this page: https://www.botlibre.com/ (https://www.botlibre.com/) it mentions that it is also available on iOS as well.
Your last comment was a bit vague. "is the option to build your own avatar available..."
Aside from their statement: "Create your own avatar for yourself. - Upload your own images, video, and audio, or choose from our directory of free 3D animated avatars.", I don't know what other options you might be thinking about.

Art, the vague bit in my last comment was an off topic slip.
Looking more closely now, this Chat Bot Wars Android app
by Paphus Solutions is in the role playing category at the
Google store. Chat Bot Wars is rated five stars by the most people.
That is an excellent rating, considering, there are always a few harsh
critics of anything chatbot. Controversy may be good for sales, though.
