The purpose is to bring together many different kinds of systems that have only intelligence in common, without the complexity of existing frameworks and virtual worlds.

It needs to start very simple and be expandable in many contexts.

For example, a 2d world where all objects are curved lines that close into a loop, enclosing the object, and each object has a place to plug in any kind of mind or programming that controls how it reacts when pushed on various places at once as it pushes back to form into different 2d shapes. These objects could grab eachother and use eachother like tools. I am working toward this, as my shape interface is defined at the pixel level of each consecutive point is 1 pixel different than the last in the up/down and left/right dimensions.

Word games, like reading of webpages, are not the simplest level AIs and people can interact, so I dont think thats the right place to start. Its ok to expand up to there, but we need something very simple at the core.

We need something that will bring together these many different researchers, projects, and a billion people who have no access to these cutting-edge techs except through layers of products made of other products, which could be played with on screen by everyone if we found something they have in common that could be represented on screen simply.

If you dont agree my planned 2d game world is the best way to bring together many kinds of AIs and let people play with their internal workings, what do you suggest?

Yeah a post in Sept. of 2011 then another in April of 2014.

Sounds like some of that $65k was needed for other things. Kind of gives the whole kickstarter idea a bad rap.

"Vaporware"...  (please feel free to correct me if I'm being a bit hasty.)
In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!

A little hasty about it being abandoned as he's still working on it. Supporters got access to a private forum but I have not looked in on it lately. But yes it's disappointing it's taken longer than expected.
