Hey Fulltime! Were you related to Steve?

(little humor)

OK...you thought WHAT would never finish?? SL or RL?

Always, be yourself! O0

Hello Art, I'm happy because, as you can read on the previous page, GT40 has decided to stop his stupid topic (yes, it's obviously a stupid idea to explain SL on a AI forum).

Thanks Art, I try to be myself, but it's not easy for Steve Jobs' son (the hidden one). :-[

Oh GT, I thought you would keep this thread going for at least another 2 years or until you get that new computer ( Mac or PC ) that you have dreams about.  8)

Seriously, there is no reason to stop, I mean who will Diesel and me be able to tease if you do.  ;)

And I know that Freddy doesn’t mind the thread.  :)

Reconsider? Maybe?

Come on GT...Even if some of us don't believe in SL, we do enjoy reading your excerpts and quips about it.

If YOU believe it's real then it IS real (to you) and if you'd rather live there then I'm sure something could
be worked out along a quantum physics level to accomplish that.

Just stick with one persona / avatar as it's far too confusing for the rest of us to keep up!

You go guy!!

@ Fulltime - sorry for your recent loss!

Thank you guys, I think I was in a bad day. Today, always a hot weather in RL but glad rain is back (just a little).

Many thanks Data, about your fondation "A new computer for GT40", a very generous idea. I'm not sure I really need (or want) it. Everyday I find a new reason to keep the old one, and to add a new feature to my RL (and the mesh thing isn't really annoying).

Art, it's impossible to report the fun I have in SL, that's a very personal and private and secret affair, but no doubt, I enjoy SL. The only way for everyone to appreciate it (or not) is to go inside and try it. It's a good way to try to forget the bad things of RL. Not always possible, but some days it can help.

I will send a little hello from time to time. I must read the stupidities written by Fulltime and Golden. They are totally out of control (not like my characters in SL, who always fully obey me). :)

Netbooks are amazing

I know you can't believe my netbook works fine in (my) SL.

I love netbooks. As you can see, they are better than tablets.

(I know I wrote "I will send a little hello from time to time", but I think this video is very important for humanity)

Yeah interesting and very cleverly done, not seen anything like that before.  I like the way it was done with pencil.  Good find  O0

I'm happy, that's incredible (at least to me)!! I knew that Phoenix and the Cool VL Viewer had a mesh capable version (about Phoenix: 1.6.1.1691), but I thought my antique PC and its old graphics card were unable to run them correctly (like for the Viewer 3 or Firestorm). I tried them and I saw I was wrong, it works! Wow, my 10/11 y.o. computer isn't that ridiculous and obsolete object anymore! ;)

I went to my favorite (and always very crowded) place, where many lovely creatures look like monsters, if watched in the old viewer 1. Now they are "normal"!!

The only inconvenience of Phoenix and the Cool VL Viewer is I can't see my movies (maybe because both are based on the old Snowglobe, I don't know) but no problem, I can watch the clips on my netbook running the viewer 1 (simply the best for movies) at the same time, in the same room.

Maybe one day or another, I will explain you the fun I have to launch an alt on the netbook, that will "play" with some characters of the desktop, but that's a too private affair...

Ok, next step, I must buy on eBay another GeForce 4600 (128), recently killed during the heat wave, and replace the current 4200 (64). A new computer just for SL? No thanks. Unless LL invents another stupid mesh idea. ;D

It's like a revival. I was incredibly happy in "MY" SL but the fact I couldn't see the mesh characters correctly was more and more annoying.

I tried Phoenix 1.5 in the past (the non-mesh capable version... because it was before LL introduces mesh graphics in SL, lol). I quickly abandoned it because of the movies problem. Now I use Phoenix 1.6...

Now mesh is everywhere in SL and I hope people with very powerful machines can enjoy the difference. Or maybe it's only a marketing trick... ::)
