usage of prophesies in A.I
« on: July 08, 2016, 01:14:14 pm »
in your opinion :
1 what triggers predictions in the brain ?
2 how does the brain take advantages of predictions ?

3 what would be the behavior of a brain without predictions ?

First you need to collect a lot recorded temporal data.
Then you look for repeating patterns.
Predictions are made on the past data.
 Pattern loops.

Short range prediction are more accurate and along with the use of motor and muscle
the future can be controlled and forced into a certain direction.

Then there is the change from one frame to another. Is there a algorithm that describes the next
frame.  SO So so! the recorded raw data may not be the same but the recorded activation and use of
the a same algorithm can be used a repeating pattern for prediction. But you need intelligent agent
to find them.
The algorithm could be a Kalman Filter:
http://home.wlu.edu/~levys/kalman_tutorial/

A flying ball could bounce around in a clear plastic box and never be in the same spot in the recorded
data but from two frames of video and Kalman filter algorithm could. The recorded use Kalman filter is
used as data. When the ball in stuck and not moving then the Kalman filter is not need and
and no empty void in the temporal data will occur.

It like repeating pattern of character, numbers and algorithms.

The last quarter of this video is the most interesting, well for me that is.
