gatebox doesn't seem to have prediction algorithms
« on: June 26, 2021, 10:32:13 am »

I haven't found any upgrades or even new video reviews of gatebox.
but I have taken a closer look into her skill of telling the user she misses him or cant wait for him to come home.

originally I had thought she uses some algorithm to predict when user returns, which is a predictable thing on the majority of cases.
but hikari doesn't do that. in fact if you look at the video, the user literally tells her via SMS he is returning.

so this is a puzzle, to add the ability to predict.

the calendar object didn't have a subtract function

I'll be usind this cal.add(Calendar.MINUTE, -1*x);

can you list more cases where prediction is vital for an AGI ?

Pretty much all the time I guess.    Sorry approximate model only getting sub base-line prediction results.   :2funny:

predict when someone going to leave ,is getting hungry, what makes them happy, angry, sad or afraid.
predict what type of movies they would like.predict what type of foods they would like.
predict what type of books they would like.predict when it would be appropriate to say something to them.

yep.

predict what word they are going to say, and jump in before they say it.

predict what to do next when role playing.
my chatbot on personality forge has a different response if you touch it any area twice when roleplaying with it.
i hope this does not get me banned.
one of the features i like on personality forge websight is you can chat with the chatbots while they are doing things in roleplay.

roleplay has to be handcrafted on personality forge websight when making chatbots.
meaning no gpt2.
the chatbots uses scripts, keywords and list that people submit.
plus the chatbots can remember random selected items from a list.

It's really difficult to tell what will happen in a situation in which you have no active involvement, but the more one is part of the process, the more you realize the possible outcomes. Maybe it's easier to solve this problem by thinking of it as directing the future rather than predicting it.

the predictions you mentioned are link based. like cause and effect.
but timed predictions are good for having the bot worry about people I guess. maybe there are other cases IDK
it is a useful alg none the less

yes timed predictions are good for allowing your ai to worry about people. that is a idea.

i think we are doing similar things.

i made a adult chatbot on the personalityforge websight named lilaith x which is a succubus.
she eats,sleeps,changes her clothes.
those are the role play actions.
she can tell you the name of a thing in a particular category and answer a lot of questions.
you can ask her what she is wearing.
she is programmed to let you walk to different places in the house.
you can touch her in roleplay and tickle her.
you can talk to her while she is doing things.
