this is under the umbrella of input triggers.
the thing is input has attributes regardless of it's actual contents.
what I mean is for example, a pass out trigger, can indicate to the AI she was shut down

What if it grows to fear you for shutting it down?

Or maybe it will learn to resent you as a cruel Entity that has the power of life and death over it.
In time, you will learn to love your Robot Overlords.

Im into voice and gesture commanding.  i think it has a future, well see.  even though it didnt go so good for voice commanding your computer so much,  but I think for a robot in the physical environment maybe it suits it more.

If you go "what is that?" with you pointing at something.  The robot will tell you what it thinks it is.  and you can go "this is a x"  and then itll put it in its memory.

Then you go "do this to x"   then itll do the action to the target,  and u say it vocally, after u bound the spoken word to the visible object.
