The best researchers are silly

The more silly the more exploration and experimentation.

If you talk to yourself about your idea or write it down a hundred times trying to solve it, then you're practicing!, and go along with it without being fully proven and you may get delayed reward.

Who here abides too strict rules? I am free.

Not to say specif rules aren't important. In fact the right ones are needed! But the solid stature is no good. Be free.

I think it's about deviations. No deviations at all - no improvement. Too big deviations - chaotic mess. But it is hard to find a balance, even consciously.

I agree a balance. However what I sorta more so mean is the actual stigma of, you NEED references/citations/proven ways/and only get funded if it is like mainstream stuff. I'm also talking about Papers....notepad is faster than writing Papers. Have pics to insert? Well hmm, I refer to pics in my folders. That's good enough. But online, you could attach it I guess. Anyhow you get it, I see this too often, everyone is so strict. At least a little I think. Of course they no no other if they are taught ANNs etc, that's all they know from school.

I heard Einstein couldn't find a way from his home to a store and back. Not confirmed.
