A new method to quickly search memory (with picture).
« on: April 14, 2016, 12:57:15 am »
Before I draw the picture up --- I wanted to ask something about a more simpler technique, and Ranch Vermin's technique.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, why can't you just take a parrell circuit board processor, input the picture(all pixels), have all pixels split into copies as they shoot along a long line ex. 20,000 times by the count(sits at entrance waiting) of stored memory images ex. is 20,000 in memory, and send them each to each picture since it's a parrell circuit and all can fire, and have each pixel of each image checked, highest match count of pixels is the image chosen. Any problem here?...

Also what exactly was Ranch Vermin's CAM technique? I read the pdf and I don't get it.

Here is the picture of it.
Note my diagram etc are in my Photo Bucket.

Notes to help:
---The resisters just let it go through quickly otherwise send it off onto a branch.
---Updater at bottom updates the highest match image including it's +/- rank. Then goes around and resistors make it shoot up to the selection.
