Title: personality
Post by: yotamarker on July 11, 2020, 07:56:41 am
I haven't seen discussion of personality based algorithms for AI in general and waifubots in particular.

here is an interesting list of personality/nature traits :

Adamant
Modest
Jolly
Timid
Impish
Bold
Careful
Calm
Lax
Gentle
Mild
Lonely
Rash
Naughty
Brave
Quiet
Null

are they simply context used to output different responses in chats and actions ?
do they effect hobbies and interests ?
do they effect fighting styles ? offensive or defensive (default strategies)
would they cause the probability of taking long shot algorithms like gambling or quitting a job to try get a better one ?
should they effect how clingy a waifubot is ?

#######################################
moreover, how would personality traits be regulated ?
are they a given default, when the AI class is the declared a personality is determined ?
trial and err of a certain action or goal would effect the personality ?

good morning

Those sound like some good roleplay. Well, all AGI does is invent new machines, and it first plans which website/experiment/thought to collect data from instead of trying to build all machines.

Careful=gentle=calm=lax and is needed only when must go slowly.

Bold=brave=adamant and is only when are not sure or are very sure.

Lonely=naughty=jolly and is only when you want to collect data from some source attractor or generate more data from it.

AGI is just based on data when it makes decisions. #2 and #3 above is just confidence-ness when have collected enough data.

The hobbies/love is just focus nodes, that get more attention. It makes you collect data from certain domains. We do evolve our reward/goal/hobby / where we collect data from, so to find more useful data for our born with true desire, survival. https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/T604ad04bc1ba220c/call-for-models-working-memory-modelathon-2020
