hear and see
« on: August 16, 2016, 06:17:45 pm »
ocular data is inputed from the surroundings
audio data can be generated at will

to get an a.i to speak many sentences like a speech or even a paragraph it must build on ocular or other sense goals do you agree ?
I mean otherwise with stand alone audio data what is the goal (other than songs which are a special case) behind it
if it is a word or a sentence the a.i would simply say it and goal achieved

I am very interested what you think about that :D

she can get ideas from audio data though

Ocular data, audio data, or any sensory data is obtained through perception. What makes an A.I capable of speaking natural language relies on large amount of memory, especially memories that makes the A.I understand. The language memories are linked to the sensory memories, and all of them are subjective. With enough memory, an A.I is capable of using logic to reason anything. By default, Logical Intelligence system is an instinct.

A mere word "Chocolate" means nothing. Unless the person you're talking to knows what it is. While chocolate can be defined using description; "a food preparation in the form of a paste or solid block made from roasted and ground cacao seeds, typically sweetened." - Google defines.

As for the reasoning, let's say the A.I knows how to calculate math. However, A.I only knows how to count using image of numbers. To even know how to count objects, the A.I would require to differentiate between objects, but also capable of categorizing objects into subject of the logical process; Numbers, pen, paper, bowl, chocolate bar, and such -- they are objects, and are countable. Water, on the other hand, is not countable -- but it is countable if you put it simply by counting its H2O molecules. But the goal is impossible since there is no way to count that.

Greetings, signature.

 I can pretty much agree.

I think the brain is hardwired with an algorithm to transform visual data into another form of data that is takes
up less space. Even in a synesthesia way.
lIke a form symbolic data compression.

I also believe the brain make it own brain language deep within the brain using this type of process.
And encoder and decoder neural networks to this so well.

I call it mini-reward ceation, or articial reward creation. You link a rewarded sense to a non rewarded sense. Game switch, kill friend. Game switch, kill billy.

it mutated friend to billy but if billy is a friend she shouldn't kill him unless she like to kill more than billy
but even than wouldn't she kill a non friend ?
