The article (https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2020/01/200122150015.htm) describes a solution to regrowing nerve cells and is in the midst of getting tried on humans for clinical trials! This could pave the way to being able to sever a human head and transplant it to another body, perhaps even the potential to host a human brain in a machine(Ghost in the Shell, 8 Man, etc). 8)
