Challenge to common object recognition theories and math
« on: April 02, 2014, 04:10:15 pm »
Their AIs can recognize a screw, but can it also understand and predict why a screw turns easily in a hole and why a slightly bent screw will not turn?

The answer is because a screw is fractal.

Those who think more like animals and see both nailing your partner and screwing your partner as equally valid analogy wont get why screwing is important to intelligence, but some parts of their brain like the higher levels of neocortex might. I would love to try screwing, but I don't bend that way.
