Actor Observer
« on: April 05, 2020, 08:17:05 am »
When data from the eyes moves to the visual cortex in the back of the brain, do you think its being observed along the way? Does the brain cross signals to enable self observation? Could the observational systems make hierarchies much like the functional action layers (autonomic, limbic, cerebral) do?

I dont know,  and I want to stay well away from nature when I make this AGI thing.   I think calculus and artificial neural networks already have the power to deliver it, and theres no need for me to over-analyze my own personal machine, Id rather leave it a mystery.

I can say one thing tho.   if your brain is an equation it involves every last sceric of the sensors that isnt superficial,    like i dont mean it doesnt care about its eye being blurry, (edit: even tho it definitely is registered, the fact) thats only a surface thing,  but understanding it,   every skeric of what went into your brain since you were born that matters, is taken into account.

So its just every skeric is taken into account, even the fact if the sensor is malfunctioning.  the equation MUST be EVERY skeric over time.

How does one observe though? What is the role of an observer? I wanna say its some kind of algorithm or calculation... but if its busy doing that... its like the choice in schools, do I take notes and miss the lesson and have to learn it later, or do I fully observe it now, by not being distracted.

One of important observable parameters is a degree of success.

could be some reflex system where the data is checked for immediate danger
that requires a reflex to run, before going to the awareness parts.

Its an interesting question theres probably big answers to,  but im just sticking to mathematics, to get what I want,  I dont care its alive or dead as long as its doing its job,
