Not necessarily - it could be forced or compliant laughter.

Mum : Eat your greens.
Son : But I don't like them (laughs nervously - eats greens).

What about sarcastic, dismayed or ironic laughter ?

Without involving the "force-er", the only way he would acquire actions to go mere food my god why is the positive rewards only, to reward the actions, then, it will do these actions on cues, or if it pops into its mind automatically.

Laughter explained below.

Remember I wrote 4, that's right, 4 questions&answers? Now which one does this fall under, hm, automatic laughter from food? No. Automatic laughter from artificially created reward? No. Initiating actions to rewards like food when see? No. Initiating actions for artificially created rewards on cue? YES! The mom says eat those beans, because this is good - no wonder she says it, no wonder you build a house or explain a paragraph of how gravity works, and love your work!

Your first answer makes no sense.

With the mum and greens, that's her positive memory - the kid flat out doesn't like them and has no positive associated reward in his mind. He hates them and sees no benefit. He merely complies. Your theory needs some tweaking.

And this still stands : What about sarcastic, dismayed or ironic laughter ?

Initiating actions for artificially created rewards on cue? YES!

Where did that rule suddenly spring from ? I'm not a mind reader.

With the greens, I explained what he "would" go to, but, as for indeed eating them, that is because of, wait, Question #2!!!!

The only reason actions for non-rewards like games/constructing/etc are learned is if they are at least linked to senses that triggered the rewards.

Do you mean this... ?

I think I see what you are trying to explain about your idea, but that first answer really did not make sense.

Assuming this is what you meant...

By unrewarded sensory input being linked to positively rewarded senses in memory only.

You think that he is being positively rewarded by his mother's conviction ?

Yes, if he abides that is, it is actions being done because the sense cue is linked to positively rewarded senses.

That's the only reason something would go after something which is actually no more different than a stool or mountain. Food>Rewards. Build-House>Artificial Rewards. The cue is either rewarded senses or linked to them. You can create some Artificial Rewards right now - The person that shoot the least targets wins. Ontop of this, the reason you create a game with a objective of more of a progress and evilness castle is because of the senses of such being made into artificial rewards. Why were they you may ask, because these senses got it rewards/artificial rewards or was linked to em.

Okay gotcha, thanks  O0

I don't really know anything about machine learning it has to be said. I'm seeing all this as conditional logic.

it is very simple what causes laughter :
when the brain finds a new or unexpected path to a goal from its active goal list
