Hi friends,
As a side project, I made a 2 players browser game, I thought I would share. It's a mix of Battleship and Missile Command. Can I share the link so you can tell me what you think?
-
I like arcade games. Why don't you share the link?
-
Don't know. Thought it would be polite to ask permission first...
Ok let's go! You'd need a 2nd player though.

I didnt see any ships, but the explosion looks really cool
Whats BMC stand for, battleship missile command?
I managed to work youve got automatic missiles, like it, plays like a dream nice and smooth, you should finish it. then turn it into an MMO.
-
That's because you were the only player connected. It's 2 players only so unless someone else plays too, you don't see any opponent!
I think it needs sound.
edit:
phew, was that you Magnus?
it was hot!!! this thing has a future

A nice touch of different torpedo and missle intercepting ammo. Visuals are also awesome, I like the graphics very much.
edit:
I won three out of five! Is there a high score? And may I suggest some more contrast, things get fuzzy when the whole screen is on fire. But I wouldn't like to ruin the visual art beauty.

ha! so it was you!! I was Aze. Well done, you beat me :)
No, no hiscore for now, but I could make an Elo ranking system for example.
Wasn't the pace too fast?
edit: yeah, you mean darker when there's no explosion, or darker also when there are explosions?

It wasn't easy, but I finally got you!
Wasn't the pace too fast?
I think not. Maybe it takes too long before a missle hits the opponent sea, but I don't know if I would change it. It would pace up the game, and somehow I think you got the right pace right now. One turn is not too long, and not too short by my opinion.
And I also like the game minimalism. Ratio between game simplicity and amount of thrill is almost amazing.

Things look perfect when there are no explosions. But a vast of explosions also contribute the battlefield glow, regardless of screen litting. Ships are on fire!!!! Swim for your life!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Thanks a lot :)
