What are you disagreeing with? I never mentioned that a Clone's growth could or would be accelerated. Read it again, "...unless you discover a method of accelerating the clone's growth without jeopardizing it's development!"

My statement was merely hypothetical not implied to be factual.

I don't think the Transporter works as a cloning device. It's more of a re-assembler than replicator in that it does not produce a copy.

Then again, I've yet to examine one up close (or the Field Manual, for that matter).

I didn't say it is - I said it can be modified to act as a cloning device, since a futuristic 'cloner' of that type would work on the same basic principles (analyze, replicate... excluding 'erase original')...
