I was rather concerned about Firefox on Windows;

it seems M$ has written a few 'addons' for it, and installed them without the users knowledge, nor indeed, permission.
What's worse is that they cannot be removed, and they tend to sit there and do nothing but alert any servers that your using M$ technology.

There should soon be a patch to remove this.

In this day and age of Political correctness, and the fact MS have been in and out fo court recently so many times they now have an IT unit there, I would find that very difficult to believe.

Tis isnt the secret service or the CIA...I am sure Firefox allowed them, just conveniently decided not to mention it to anyway.

This happens with more programs and companies than you really are probably aware of, not just MS that has this evil take over the world reputation...need to open your eyes to the way the world really is.

Now, if you have said that it was this countries government that had done it...fair play, would not argue in the slightest :)

Dante,

Please be so kind as to list them for the rest of us to digest. ;)
In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!

Well, if you have Visual Basic studio, an addon is some sort of .NET adapatation (which does nothing)

There are also 'updates' to call upon the Office package (though these don't function, either)

and no, they werent allowed to do it, as a matter of fact, Mozzila, as I said, is working on a patch to remove them.
