Gt40, Thank you very much. I saw a lot of people unhappy, the Livebox. But it is mainly, services, France Telecom Orange, who are not very honest. I sent a letter to telecom services, explained to my surprise, lack of competence, professional to subscribers. It is to them, to make the necessary, scammed the client, it is not the interest of subscribers.
I do not understand their interest, played with the customers as fact, France Telecom Orange.
Orange telecom, know very well, the problem of my line, because they have a page IP of my account.
I think they are not serious, and very greedy, money.
I will follow your advice my friend, Gt40 for trying, turned the box, to other position, left or right.

And if that does not work, I put it in the microwave! :tickedoff: ;)

I used to be with Orange here in the UK and they were just as difficult to work with.  The support was not acceptable and the service was not very good either - my connection was slow and it dropped out a lot.  So I left them and went elsewhere.   They had the cheek to try and charge me a few hundred pounds for leaving them.  One short and sharp letter to their head office got me out of that.

So my advice is to find a better company.  I now use TalkTalk (don't know if you have them) and they are a lot better than Orange.

Orange just like to take your money.

Freddy, yes, you're right. Orange UK, it is the same company, Orange France. They have a way to take people to, cows milk has. It's a shame for them. That is, the sale has lost! But what they, fun, people openly.
I'm stuck with the subscription LiveBox. Because it is a commitment of 12 months. But I'll find another solution.
I sent a letter to management, very serious, this is a scam.
Thank you for your support freddy. ;)

Here are some other problem on the billing Orange!
This is a nightmare.
I want to know if Talk Talk, the English service, available in France? I have read the terms and it seems very serious, especially professional.

Unfortunately, I am from Orange, here's what I discovered on the internet! Hundreds of subscribers that are scammed.
I'm going to have terminated quickly, my subscription in orange.

Hint:

Minitel
GIBMédia makes rab

While it was thought that the end of the Minitel put an end to a number of scams related to the option Minitel Orange, publisher GIBMédia obtained before the Commercial Court of Paris the right to extend 4 months operating its telematics services via the Internet. Time for him to switch to a similar service called Contact +. Consumers still have to worry about.

Since 30 June, more than any Minitel service using technology is available. In theory at least. For a small village of indomitable Gauls (or rather Toulouse) decided to resistance. Installed in the Pink City, the publisher GIBMédia got justice, June 26, the right to continue to operate its Minitel services for a period of four months, the time to find an alternative offer that allows it to continue its work in good condition.

One trades GIBMédia is to provide the general public and professional information (weather, reverse directory, exam results ...) it charges. For this, the publisher of telematics services is largely based on technology Minitel, which allows it to charge each user based on the time he spends on his service, either from an old box Minitel or, in most cases via the Internet using an emulator software that enables access to the Minitel services on your computer. The visitor must be a subscriber to Orange. When accessing certain web pages value, a counter starts. More there is, the longer the bill climbs. The cost of the connection is then plotted on the invoice from the supplier of Internet access under "Option Minitel" or "Minitel service." Part of the money collected is then donated to the editor.

Before the Commercial Court of Paris, the boss of GIBMédia Benjamin Jayet, highlighted the fact that the Minitel services accounted for not less than 85% of its activity and that their judgment would endanger society. For its part, Orange explained that the decision to stop the Minitel has long been known, it has even been extended several times and that alternatives have been proposed to publishers. Except none of these solutions suited GIBMédia. It took effect in early June to expect Orange launches a service called Contact + who like the option Minitel, allows publishers to charge consumers in the long term.

Good news for publishers, but not necessarily for consumers. For the option of GIBMédia Minitel as popular and other publishers did not as well. Many Orange customers have discovered on their ISP bill for 10 € or 20 connections unjustified. It is challenging these amounts from the customer service of Orange they have realized that access to certain sites they visited (to find the coordinates of an administrative service, calculate the amount of tax , etc.). was paying nothing while clearly indicated.

This is a good operator! Alas, I do not know if the service Talk Talk, work in France. The price is reasonable, and the box is completely different.

Claude, if you are suffering with a low signal strength from the router to your PC it might be that the computers internal wireless is being obstructed by the metal of the computer case. That does happen.

You can get round this by using an external USB dongle that has a long lead, then you can place the dongle away from the computer, as far away as possible and as high as possible too.

Here is an image of what I mean, a dongle on a lead.
