This is two years old, but I was doing some research on "learning and fear"  and one of the limitations of the papers I was reading is the use of MRI scanners when studying infants, where then I thought to myself has anyone developed a wearable MRI scanner? And so they have!

Great, it's so much less claustrophobic, now they'll be able to study mental states other than fear.

I'm modeling brain function from a holistic perspective and fear is just one of the emotional states that are used so an AI can be relatable to people.

That's ok then. I was worried that you were contemplating the use of punishment to expedite the learning process.
