Amazon Bargain of the moment.
« on: March 08, 2007, 10:29:35 pm »
I watched the sci-fi film eXistenZ the other night and decided to write it up in a short preview of the film as I liked it so much.  Should have been longer - the film I mean.  I found it is really cheap on Amazon now too:

See here...if you are interested.

I finished watching it last night, freaky stuff.  The Goth (girl of the house) said I saw this b4 & left.  Wasn't what I expected, sort of sexual inuendo with that portal.  I was wondering why it wasn't wireless, but then I caught the whole organo part & got pulled in 2 their point of view.  I agree it should have been longer, they could have really taken it places.  I didn't realize it was from the 90's, they looked so young.

Yeah, I thought it was more recent too - just happened to be on late one night here...

I wasn't sure about it when I first started watching it, but when they eventually get themselves hooked into the game I became more interested.

I think it seemed short to me because it only started to get more interesting about a quarter of the way in, then I too wanted it to go further.  The way it ends almost suggests a sequel, but I doubt that will happen now, it's been so long.

I always find Cronenberg freaky, I am never sure what he's going to do next and have to be sure I won't loose my lunch along the way lol
