Snow? What is this "snow" that everyone talks about?

I live in the southeastern part of the US where snow is such a rarity that if one flake falls the news media comes out to photograph and video tape "the blizzard", cars slam into each other because they don't know how to drive in the stuff (remember, this is one flake) and people rush like mad to buy up all the bread and milk because it might not melt for another ten seconds! Lastly, the vendors sell t-shirts that say, "I survived the blizzard of 2010."
