From each point determinism must do all possible things that are equally likely

Physics moves toward energy spreading out where its harder to reach, which is called entropy. If entropy is conserved in total, and you'd have some explaining to do if it wasnt, then local increase in entropy must be balanced by the farther away decrease in entropy, so heatdeath is avoided gradually. Or maybe you dont believe in conservation of entropy. Either way, this is the field that we live in.

At each point, physics moves toward whats locally most downhill, in some number of dimensions. What we may call uphill, like levitating in the air, may still be more downhill in total of many dimensions at once.

The universe can be entirely deterministic while still having all the effects of nondeterminism, as long as they all happen equally.

At each point in the universe, at each moment, the field will roll steepest downhill, whatever direction that is. But whats equally steepest downhill isnt always 1 unique direction. So determinism is forced to take all equally steepest downhill paths, and we see doubleslit etc. If it stays equally balanced up to branching whole people and worlds, each version of you asks why you are not the other, but you are both at once.

If physics was not deterministic, then small random events would build up and not cancel when particle hits back wall of doubleslit. It wouldnt be adiabatic.

What you seek is simply the Yin & Yang of existence. It has always been. Good / Bad, Light / Dark, Matter / Anti-Matter,
Hard / Soft, True / False and so on...

If a ball is rolling up an incline, somewhere else one is rolling down an incline. It is action / reaction on a grandiose cosmic scale. Things are meant to be and to take place when the events dictate that they should take place, not before not after, but at that exact moment.

What if you could change that exact moment? Would it be a conscious choice or would fate have already know that you would have chosen to act a moment before or a moment after the event? There is no Predestination. Your path is already chosen and laid out before you. You only have the illusion of being able to change your mind for it was already determined before you did so.

You can't undo what has been done. You (we) are just along for the journey.
In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!

  • Its nearly time!
Determined determinists are still safe, A pen perfectly made and balanced perfectly on its point, is still, pulled in all directions.
Just describes stillness.

But I have to say, you had me doubting, I had to come back with that,  with a one choice blurred from many choices.

But in your game system, you use stochasm.  Imagine a game book where there is options, but your completely determined all the way from the factors until then.  Its not very fun cause you didnt choose anything.

And you call the series 'fate'.  :)

They say that matter and antimatter are two polar notions. I would dare to say [alive consciousness] and [matter + antimatter] are two polar notions at higher level.

One question arises: can matter exist without life? Is life is created in this Universe in the moment in which matter started to exist? I'm waiting for explanation of life phenomena. Maybe AI could answer these questions, if it would be smart enough, given enough time to process experimental data from this Universe.

Couldn't help thinking of The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy when I read that !

I have to finally read that book. Sounds promissing.
