wauw, I knew they were expensive, but not that expensive. Seems to me a bit like they want to price themselves out of the market. There are probably companies willing to pay such prices today, but I doubt that will remain the same.

And with all due respect to the company, I see nothing that an AIML bot can't do. Cybertwin hosted a competition to create a bot using their software and it was comparable to AIML. Users would be better buying the Superbot from Pandorabots for $999 rather than paying that sort of crazy money. Failing that, give me $2,000 a month and I will make a bot for them  :D

See there Steve...a Win...Win situation for everyone!! Heh!!

At first glance I thought the price of the "Superbot" was kind of high. I was informed that it was a storehouse of useful knowledge, etc.
This sort of softened me on the price thing but I wondered, if IT was so good, how is it that no one used it to win the bot competitions
year after year? Unless the price IS the motivating factor or the deterring factor (depending on which side of the vault you're on). ;)

In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!

The Superbot is more of a tool where you "fill in the blanks" to quickly create a bot suitable for a business website, rather than trying to win any competitions.

Art, yes you are right, it's really expensive. I admit that the quality of intelligence, Cybertwin, is remarkable, but for this to be a price affordable, I think they will, forced to be more reasonable, it is a future work, but research in this area, go very very fast. I am not demanding, I prefer my good old HAL5, this is the most generous. ;)
