It was a good find Locksuit, thanks for sharing it. There have been a lot of experiments like that before, including with actual physical robots learning how to crawl or even walk. However they never seem to get very far. Learning new things takes a long time and robots make faster progress when they can leverage human expertise.

They don't get too far, which you mean when they hit a wall, exactly, that's where I come in (well, really really came in, you'll see).
