Real life AI experience
« on: October 16, 2014, 12:12:50 am »
While a student I once had a professor who would stand behind his lectern / podium, resting both arms atop the slanted top, and talk most stoically, never showing a hint of emotion. He did this practically every day. While his subject was topical and real, I'd have to say, he was the very best example I've ever seen of Artificial Intelligence.

 ;)
Come to think of it, they could have had a mannequin and a tape recorder and accomplish the same result while saving a ton of money! :2funny:
In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!

I had a high school teacher, who had a small defect in the eye! he could see in the left and right at the same time, a kind of eyes like a chameleon! I was afraid of him because he was evil, his problem! lol  ;D
But he was very efficient in mathematics.
welcome to my world!

Reminds me of my old lecturer in Modula-2 (programming language). I found it hard to stay awake. Of course now many years later and with the realisation that Modula-2 never took off it was also a big waste of time  :P
