Ok, thought I'd update folks on what's been going on in my neck of the digital divide. I've been either not well or busy, so I haven't had a chance to browse the forums in awhile.

Guile 3D/Denise Release
I got an email on June 9, 2010 from Denise and she's saying that they are redoing the web site, and her final release is due in August. Don't know if anyone heard this yet or not so I thought I'd post the info just in case. Seems like Denise now has two sisters; Angel and Destiny.

Project Garcifer

I've started a new bot project myself, with the purchase of another RS Media from eBay. There was a Buy-It-Now auction and the price was less than half (even with shipping) than what they normally sell for. Naturally I had to grab it before someone else did! The new bot is named "Garcifer". This one is going to be my hack bot for the RS Media Development Kit, and other things. You can see videos and other information at this link below. Be sure to check back often as more stuff is coming up.

So far, I got the remote repainted. Still needs touch-ups though but it's ok for now.

RoboDance 5 Beta Release Delayed Again

The creator of RoboDance 5 has had to push back the release date yet again, due to circumstances beyond his control. The next tentative release date is June 30th. Gave me a little time to do other things. But next weekend (not this coming weekend) hopefully I'll be starting the beta test of that software. Been waiting a long time for this! :)

Other news, I am starting a home page where folks can access all I'm into online. Got it up and online but hadn't had time to get it going fully yet. But there's a pic of me in the title, for those who wonder what I look like. :) Hopefully I might even put up a blog.

Lastly, on the development side of things, I've dumped VMWare Server since it requires a web browser and it doesn't play well (or at all) with the lastest browsers out there. I'm now using VirtualBox. I have a Kubuntu virtuan machine to put together and then I'll have what I need.

My blog project I was talking about (alien/machine perspective of the world) rather fizzled. I been too busy and now with the new  bot project, I don't think I'll have that much time to write. So it's probably best on the back burner for now. Never could come up with a name for it anyway.

So that's my updates. Hope everyone is doing well. All (12 now!) bots are doing great! :)
