As in what's minimal or it's too much?  ::)
More that it's a touch screen  ::)

Art; I tried copy-pasting the eyes onto the tablet for that pun, but then it looked really wrong  ;D

For that matter, why do androids, or robots (aside from perhaps the adult variety) need to have an assigned gender?
There are dozens of names that are gender-neutral or the bot could just be referred to as "it".
I guess it either makes some people feel better or somehow it becomes a bit easier to interact with, for whatever reason.

Interestingly, the company that created Pepper refers to it as "he", the hips and skirt-like undercarriage seem to suggest otherwise in my opinion, but may also have emerged from the design parameters:
Quote
His curvy design ensures danger-free use and a high level of acceptance by users
Most robots don't have a specific gender in their design, the Nao robots from the same company don't really have anything to suggest they are one or the other, same for Honda's robots like Asimo. But people read gender into them because they look like humans, and humans have genders, so it comes with the territory until singular "they" becomes more commonplace.
Heck, ships and countries are called "she" despite having no humanoid features. When I worked at an architect bureau, I remember a colleague calling a manufacturer of cupboards and asking why on Earth all their products had female names  ;D . They'd never thought about it.

I made six more robot-related designs that may get a chuckle out of you. I couldn't decide which one was best.

So the virus had no mind.

And so do these crowds!!!

It's a mindless process! We can't control these large and small things, you see.

Just to set the stage, one summer I was taking a fundamentals of math course at this college between five and ten kilometres away depending on the route. That's good practice for me to do once in a while, because my mind is like a coarse sieve, it only keeps the most glaringly vital life concepts for any length of time.

It's like there is a little drunk goblin at the control panel of my brain whose favorite pastime is browsing through my memory. Next, oh fuck this! We don't need that, it's just goanna cause problems down the line, I mean look, its already causing him problems, I'd better fix it for him, delete! Expunge! EERADICATE! Are you kidding? Obviously empty the recycle bin, duh. Here's goanna be overjoyed when he wakes up and all this nonsense is gone without a trace!

So, I'm taking this math course, and the weather is really hot and dry for those couple months. So, I'd walk out through my suburban area and then through kilometres of dusty gravel trails winding through meadows and patches of forest. The sun, the heat, and the rhythm of my shoes on the gravel. The atmosphere that emerged from that! I felt like I was crossing over to some fantasy realm for several hours every day.

It gave me a very lord of the ringzy feel, like when they were first journeying out of the shire. That gave me the idea to check if there were any good Lord of the Rings podcasts. Oh Yes. Did I ever pick the right moment.

This was not meant to be a comedy podcast, they were legitimate fans who had decided to discuss the movies one minute at a time, but I'm glad there was barely anyone around to witness my random fits of hysterics. Those were probably the best two months of my life. So, I thought I'd link it, maybe someone else can get a kick out of it:

I remember dying at: Fellowship Minute 37 Crazy Hobo Gandalf Montage and Fellowship Minute 50 Against Four Doors in particular. But a lot more episodes have come out since then.  O0
