Hmmm downward slide  ?  I always enjoyed going downhill, so much easier

I had a nice day actually.  We went to an Air show on the coast at a place called Lowestoft...old planes, the Red Arrows (Royal Air Force display team to those of you over the pond), a nice Spitfire and an Avro Vulcan (V-Wing Nuclear Bomber) which I think is the only one left flying I particularly enjoyed.

Here's some photos I took.  The weather was on the damp side, actually we got soaked but it picked up later in the day and we all dried out.  By the time we left the sun had finally come out.  Typical lol.

Very nice photos. My favs were the first and last pics. Glad to hear you had a good time.

Oh, and don't worry so much about that whole "downhill" thing. I'm staring a half century in the face, come March.

Thanks   That last one was the final photo I took I think.  I got it from the top of the multi-storey car park we were in.  I like the smoke in that one.

The Red Arrows in the last photo you mention were amazing - I have seen them many times, but it is always excellent.

Nice pics, I’ve seen and heard the Red Arrows once before, it is pretty amazing what they can do, brave guys.

Yep very brave.  There's talk that they might scrap the Red Arrows though, in these days of spending cuts everywhere they could be flying into their final sunsets.  Shame if it happens.

And that Vulcan takes about a million a year...
