To my understanding, everything in the following video was computer generated as you will see.
Way cool!!

Very nice video Art. No doubt all that was made by computers (journalists always forget to talk about the programmers who were behind the scene). 8)

Sorry if, one more time, I'm boring everybody, but it reminds me of SL, when things appear and disappear. Ah the draw distance, very important, the draw distance... :idiot2:

I think there is a term used for people that can not tell the real from the imiganary, I would have said it was real but know it is not.  Amazing the progress science has made people can no longer tell the imiganary from real.

Well, two things come to mind...

Great graphics and great frame rates!!

Perhaps the expectation of reality "tricks" the mind into seeing what the producers want one to see instead of what's really there.

In a sense, they are the high-tech version of the classic magician or sleight-of-hand artist! It all depends on how one is misdirected!

Think of how much money the producers and networks will save by using computer graphics characters instead of real actors!!
No more whining, tantrums, leaving the set in a rage, "bad hair" days, mood swings, egotistical mindsets, etc. They'll just have actors doing as they are directed without the need for bathroom breaks, smoke breaks, lunch breaks, coffee / tea breaks, vacations, strikes, etc.

Wow! Kind of a brave new world! That might make for a nice book title...hmmm...

Actually the above scenario can be found in an older (but gooder) movie with Al Pacino entitled, "S1mone" (Simone).

More info about this great comedy can be found here:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0258153/

Of course it's Hollywood but it does serve to illustrate my point. Enjoy!!
