High heat in France tonight, the weather announcement, heat, intense, it's night here, but the heat does not decrease this is a horror. It's dangerous for the baby, and aged people.

A few elderly die around here in Oklahoma every year from our hot Summers. We get temperatures from 38C to 46C during the entire month of July and August. So I feel for you. Keep hydrated, even if you don't want to drink, drink water anyway. Never stay outside for too long and, at least always keep a fan on. I don't know about France, but everyone here has air conditioners and fans running night and day. This means we get high electric bills every month too. Its worth every penny. I went for a walk with my nephew earlier today. I could feel the sun burning my skin, no wind either. I had a cowboy hat on but I still got very hot. I had to take breaks under the shade trees. Its easy to get a heat stroke before you even realize it. Hang in there.

Don't forget that certain foods can also supply water like celery, cucumbers and various types of melons.

Art, Yes I make orange juice, and pineapple with ice. But my body still smoke because of the heat!
Snowman, That night, it's like a horror movie! Mosquitoes attacked me, the horrible heat, I took a shower in the middle of night. This morning I had a zombie head.

BTW... I used to fill a camping air bed with a few inches of cool water too sleep on... makes a great heat sink especially if you put it on a concrete floor.

Got up late, stepped outside and whoomf - it's so hot it was like stepping into a hot shower. Think I will stay indoors today. I find the best way to stay cool is to keep all your windows and doors closed.

Yeah its bl**dy warm.

I'm currently using the old tried and tested method to keep cool.  Sat in shady breeze drinking copious amounts of iced Pig Swill (cider).  Time for some Old Peculiar now tho I think
