Hi gang!

I'm back from my WORKING VACATION! Yes, Virginia...there really is such a thing!

The wonderfulness of the Alaskan wilderness, working on my daughter's house, installing
electric outlets, room partitions, fixing drains and grouting kitchen tiles among mending
electric horse fencing, etc.

I did enjoy some time with the grandchildren, target shooting, fishing (I caught a 17 lb
Silver Salmon - it's actual color was deep red due to the season). It was about 2-1/2 feet
long and put up quite a fight in the stream...it was great. It was released without harm,
but I did manage a couple of nice pictures as a keepsake.

Even though the work was long and difficult at times, just being with family gave me the
recharge that I needed. (Did I mention that I absolutely HATE those long plane flights!!)
Well, I do!!

Glad to be back and getting to go back to my real work tomorrow.

I'm back too
Went to Daytona Beach Shores for week :zdg_sunny
But did no work. :zdg_hitcomp
I feel "working vacation" is contradiction of terms and unnatural phenomena. :zdg_old
I spent week surfing, boating, eating and drinking.   :zdg_drunk2
And also wore shorts and t-shirt most of time.  :zdg_chicken

Gonna take 3 days to catch up reading Zaba and DG.  :zdg_huh
Always nice to go, and nice to come back.   :cool

GamerThom - I haven't been on a "vacation" either in years, at least not where I would be travelling anywhere (since I'm unable to travel). My vacations are taken online, mostly.

Today I'm wearing a tank top and light pants. It's near 80 today! Not unusual for September (sometimes even into October it can get that warm at times).
