Hi Remi, nice to hear from you :)

I would be happy to help and thanks for considering me.  I can certainly host the site on AiDreams, but I am a bit snowed under with Real Life at the moment.  Let me know when you want the move to take place and I will see what I can do.

Aslo a little busy with real life at the moment and I know and understand Freddy is very busy lately with things. As for where the site should go is down to you and you alone, but all can say for Freddy is that he knows if ever needs the extra hands or help he can always rely on myself, and as they say 2 heads are better than 1 lol.

As for the future of the site, I am very sure that it will be in safe and good hands with any of the active memebrs here along with the people who have shown over the years an active interest in this field.

Wish you luck with it.

I did a ZIP file with all html files of The Chatterbot Collection:
http://www.geocities.com/brizglace/Chatterbot2008.zip

Just unzip and open index.htm

If you want, you can have 2-3 administrators for
update the site.  :o

You can change the look of the site like you want.  :o

Also, you must download some old chatterbots in
my directory here:
http://www.geocities.com/brizglace/download
and upload it on your site. (only 4 mb)

Okay Remi.  Thank you, I will start work on that then.

Can I email you at the address you have registered here?  I had a couple of questions to ask you.

Thanks  ;D

I will contact you in a day or two....gotta go now.  I have downloaded the site and the software, so they are safely here now.  When I get a chance I will figure out how to integrate things into this site.

Be well!

Some Info about "The Chatterbot Collection"

2003 - Remi Poulin created "The Chatterbot Collection"
2006 - KnyteTrypper is the new webmaster (he updated the site for 6 months)
2007 - Remi Poulin continue the site again
2008 - Freddy (AiDreams) is the new webmaster

In 2003, I created the site. I searched in some chatterbot lists, after that, I searched in Google,
Yahoo, newsgroups and forum with keywords (chatterbot, chatbot, chat bot, ai chat) and I found 300 chatterbots. Now in 2008, the site has about 1000 chatterbots.
Every year(2003-2008), I searched with these keywords in Google, Yahoo or MSN.

In 2003-2004, KnyteTrypper sent to me by email new links nearly every week and in 2006, he updated the site for 6 months.
KnyteTrypper has found about 20% chatterbots in The Chatterbot Collection.

Thanks to you both.  I am looking forward to working on this.  Last year I volunteered to help when KT passed away, but luckily for us Remi stepped back in again.  Now I thank him for choosing me and I will make sure the collection stays with us and continues to grow.

Thank you Claude  ;D

I have made the Chatterbot Collection available in a temporary home here:

http://aidreams.co.uk/chatterbotcollection/index.htm

I still have to do some work on it (mainly correcting links to some software) but I do not have a lot of time available at the moment because I am moving home.  When I am less busy I will put some more work in on it and may look into integrating it with AiDreams a bit more.
