Way off topic but let's see what it "generates" ...;)
« on: October 04, 2015, 06:44:39 pm »
How about this article of a 'Fuelless' generator. Running a quantum energy electromechanical device that provides between 15 to 2100 watts of power...after bring unplugged from conventional house current (120 volts - 60 cycles) here in the USA.

It shows no exposed external or wiring from an outside source and claims to be all self-contained.

To me, while it would nice if true, goes against everything I learned in physics class about energy.

If you drop a ball from a given height, it will never bounce as high at that original height on each successive bounce. Similar thing with this quantum motor setup.

Thoughts? (I'm sure)....

If this is no scam, that's great. He could use a battery to start up the machine, while recharging it when the machine runs.

What does this mean? Is there a hidden quantum field, or something, from which the energy is being extracted? Is it renewable source of energy?

Anyway, can't wait to see if this is true... I wish everything well for this guy and let he may not get a visit from uncle Sams' dirty executioner.

Actually Art, I came to learn that there is always a way... There is so much of the universe we don't understand and haven't even seen yet - we are on a small oasis in the middle of a huge desert and are yet to find out what is beyond it - grass, oceans, mountains... The multiverse is full of wonders.

The truth is, most of what we can see freely on YouTube and such is scam - simple logic, things that can change the whole world aren't just let loose to the wild like that (think corrupt governments and oil companies).

There must be a way - the sun gives off so much energy. Except the smart people would be wise to keep such a contraption to themselves. On a more advanced note, think infinite energy. An energy portal.. Black holes.. White holes.. Wormholes and what not. Energy being brought into this universe from another, or maybe inter-dimensional energy commutation (IDEC). Wonders are possible only to those willing to see them.

On a more realistic and less-theoretical note, I am waiting on nuclear fusion (cold fusion). So much energy is held within the smallest of things and hydrogen is so ridiculously abundant. We just haven't learned how to efficiently turn all the heat into electrical energy.
Check out the nuclear batteries on Voyager 1 and 2. We are so close to..

IT does not necessarily have to break the law of physics if it is operating on a previously unknown law of physics .Dang it i can not remember what it is called but there is a type of physics that is different from conventional ones when you get really really really tiny grrr i hate  my memory but quarks is part of the kind i am talking about.
So sue me

Ivan,
Please read the first paragraph once more and you'll see that I mentioned that the original author unplugged the machine (from house current...not a battery).

DemonRaven, you and Ultron are getting off of the topic at hand which is this very man's invention.

I don't care about theoretical physics and multiverse, etc.

What? <most of what we can see freely on YouTube and such is scam...>
Then why did you post that video about the lie we are told?

You can't have it both ways...

All I wanted was to invite some comment on this man's "machine". Again, based on what I was taught, there is a law of diminishing returns on energy, as we know it. You do not get more than is given. There is NO perpetual motion machines as we know it otherwise we'd all have free power for our households and cars, etc.

Demon, if it was operating on a previously Unknown Law of physics, how would we ever know of it? Hmmm...

I guess everything is or could be a scan...it just depends on one's belief system.  O0

We should check with Tony Stark. He had a lot of great answers to energy issues...

I fail to see how i was getting off topic since i addressed the comment you made yourself. But okay ....

But the kind of physics i was referring to is called the same as what that machine is called  in part- Quantum physics. In quantum physics some really strange things happen that are not part of "normal" physics. That is the short version anyway. I am sure you know enough to understand them better then i do.

So sue me

Yes, I know, but before it was unplugged it was on house AC power and that part could be done with a battery.

Yes I do have a tendency of going off topic when i get excited about presenting my own ideas  ;D

The thing is tho, I avoid thinking about machines such as these since many have shown exactly how they hide the small button batteries. Unless I can inspect it in person, it is not a worthy investment of my time and energy.

Also Art, you are right. You cannot extract more energy from a given system then what has been previously invested or contained. However strange phenomena such as nuclear fusion/fission release ridiculous amounts of energy from what seemingly contains none (a bunch of atoms at rest?). There are also so many unusual and unknown phenomena/laws or whatever hiding far in the universe, other dimensions and quantum physics (I am slowly dragging you back off topic now, see  :P  ).

Also, on the topic of perpetual motion machines.. They aim at using gravity and magnetism to move mechanical parts which would further be attached to an electro-mechanical element (dynamo) and create electricity through electro-magnetism. Now let me blow your mind and confuse you by mentioning magnetic levitation and force u to think on magnets in general.. It takes energy to lift or push something, so how can magnets do it indefinitely without (probably) exhausting any.. uhm.. source? of energy. It would seem that there is some other form of energy here (I have a good background in physics so take a look at this from another perspective and don't try to explain magnetism to me) or something else - phenomena, portal.. something.

Now if we can harness that energy cleverly, perpetual motion machines may in fact be possible since the energy would be gathered from the magnets and the machine would only convert it to electrical.

I am missing something here.. But physicists are yet to understand magnetism completely and therefore there is room for Ultron's quirky theories. Also, while we are here, have you all read the latest news on these guys creating magnetic monopoles?

Of course it's a scam/trick/illusion. Just like the alchemists of old trying to change lead into gold or the modern alchemists trying to change computers into brains, it can't be done. It's like watching David Copperfield make the Statue of Liberty vanish and actually believing it happened.

In the videos description it mentions a quantum field.

Quote
Longer (FULL VIDEO) and more detailed 2.3kW demonstration of the 40kW WITTS Fuelless Generator. This device, once started, requires no input of fuel whatsoever and derives it's power from the quantum field.

Think I will remain open minded for now, I have serious doubt though.

It is true that scientists and physicists are still trying to understand the universe we live in, we "the human race" don't have all the answers yet. Sir Isaac Newton discovered gravity but we still don't understand its basic causes.

For me the questions remain - what is a "quantum field" and can it be used in a device such as in the video.

Answer that = boom or busted.

That man shouldn't be standing that close to a quantum field generator if such a thing existed, which it doesn't. Googled "quantum field generator", found scam:

Sometimes I wonder if I'm just here to burst bubbles. Sorry Art  ;)

Ac-tually, chemistry class taught me that lead can in fact turn into gold (bear with me), as it has an unstable molecular bond. Lead is (slightly) radioactive and expels some of its particles over time. After it has lost enough of them, it'll have the molecular structure of gold, which is similar. Unfortunately I was also taught that this process takes several trillion years of waiting, given its half-life.

I studied a bit of chemistry from wiki.

We have around 100-110 different stable elements, each with different atom number. They all strive to atom number around 45-50, lighter elements receive protons and get heavier, heavier elements emit protons and get lighter. And there you have real alchemy that is happening through trillions of years on conditions of the Earth.
