Possible future of transistors
« on: October 12, 2016, 12:00:41 am »
Processor chips have transistors that are nearly the size limit around 30 atoms. 5 billion on cheap consumer chips. More 3D stacks is an option. But what if Intel optimizes its chips now once the size limit is reached - because currently they don't turn on/off 5 billion times each second like they could be doing, my guess is bad wiring maybe.

Message of the day: What we want to have in the future is a hospital we live in with things around you that are made of nanobots and that are able to and know how to open you up and install artificial organs. Things can get really smart and really far fetched when you think more farther than normal.
