Why Does this site list the A.I. 'Hal' as being lost or missing?

Though I'm not 100 % sure, there was a MegaHal (Jason Hutchins) a Hal(?) and an UltraHal (Zabaware).
Perhaps that's How (Hal)...

That particular 'Hal' was a forum bot, not UltraHal...

Thanks for the info, I didn't realize or even think of other 'Hals'


But how do you loose a bot? are they still 'out there' somewhere?
'Spydaz' is on the list and somebody posts under that name at the other forum..?   Hmmm

Yes, some bots do become "Lost" after falling along the wayside due to various issues like
popularity (or lack of), functionality, time (lack), money (lack), programming or development
concerns or the author / programmer just gave up on it.

Times, people, tides, diapers, attitudes and bots often change (or change often) 

Personally, I have been looking to find a TANU bot for the past few years with no success.

The TANU (Transplantable Artificial Neurological Units) is an AI chatbot architecture maintained by the P2B (Person 2 Bot) standards organization http://www.p2bconsortium.com/). TANU chatbots allow users to digitize or immortalize their thoughts and ideas in the form of a state machine.

Though these bot flourished for a brief tine around the late 1990's to early 2003 or 2004, they have subsequently disappeared and no one that I have been in contact with either has one or knows of one. Perhaps the government knew of their potential and had them removed from circulation. I'm still looking because I'm curious and I wish to experiment with them...much like my parakeet and ex-sister-in-law!

I noticed if you search for 'tabu bot' on google the top two results are from you Art asking where they went..

Kind of weird it should totally disappear.
