I love birds as well but as slow moving as the windmills actually are and as smart and agile as birds are, I fail to see how the wind generators are killing birds! I think it's just more hype especially from those who are joined with the manufacturers of these new inverted windsocks!

30 % LESS efficient! Now that's not worth bragging about I would think. :idiot2:

Nevertheless it is an interesting invent.

Did you also heard about projects of converting sea wave motion to electricity? Think about it... huge forces arise there.

sea would get more power,   but unfortunately its a ugly thing to do to the coastline.
