If anybody is interested in learning Deep Learning, below are two lengthy video introductions, or short courses, on YouTube. I'm about to launch into the first one.

Oddly, fully learning Deep Learning has been a struggle for me. I know from a high level what it's about, and I am very familiar with the low level basics like convolutional networks and machine learning by clustering, but I can never get through a full course on it to learn exactly how it's all connected. The last time I tried to go through a lengthy Deep Learning course, YouTube deleted all the videos without warning, so I never got past the part with the mathematical clustering basics I already knew. I haven't found a good intermediate tutorial on the topic, and I don't have the time to take a full college course on it. Maybe it's a conspiracy: just a new buzzword on which schools can make money to teach people what is hardly more than a tweak on back propagation learning, without warning students there is little more to it than that.

Part of my motivation for starting such a thread is that if anybody else is learning Deep Learning currently, this would be a good place for anybody to ask questions, then other people could learn some tidbits about it at the same time.
