Sigh picky web standards
« on: September 25, 2015, 09:00:05 pm »
I  officially hate responsive web design and frameworks. IT is a total pain in the ass when you do not completely understand the complicated code that W3C uses for the css part.  http://www.w3schools.com/lib/w3.css

I will eventually figure out what I did wrong but right now i am going to complain then leave it alone for a while. That has worked for me in the past when i got stuck on something.

I am in the process of creating a new website about Alife/virtual pets. So if anyone has suggestions for links i would welcome them.
So sue me

Lesson in webcoding I learned don't always rely on web validators even is it is the W3C when using other sites codes as when you try to fix up their code it screws it up so that it does not show.

Their validator does not like facebook, google and twitters scripts.

I have no link to offer, but I remember Creatures, it was a really cool game...

I'm looking forward to see your website about Alife and virtual pets... i-ware has to live somewhere!

Will there be a cat simulation contest?  :jump:

Contests involve money which is something i do not have a lot of being disabled. So no not unless you wanna sponsor it lol.

The thing i hate about css is that it is not human error friendly. You screw one thing up and it makes the website look funny where as html 5 is human error friendly.

Well, contests can be free, just for fun! You know like all these cool programming games! But I guess no one would participate...

Yes a contest could be free and perhaps some might participate but more would if it was actually sponsored as that is what drives many programmers who have to make a living from it..
