I am strictly a self taught armature so don't expect anything super fancy as i do not have access to some of the more professional tools like adobe flash but i finally figured out how to make everything work and become responsive css which means even cell phones should be able to view it.
The url is http://aivirtualpetz.altervista.org/home.html  I finally got the template started so that i can build on it and create the rest of the site.

It works well :)

I do quite a lot of browsing on my mobile phone, I know responsive css sites are recommended but I find them slower to browse on my phone, I like to pinch and zoom in to parts of a site rather than scroll down and down the page. Just personal choice.

Good job though DemonRaven  O0

Nicely done.

Just a word to the wise. Not to rain on your parade but those lovable characters at the top are from the movie and TV cartoon series 'Madagascar' which is a copyrighted property / entity of Dreamworks Animation and 20th Century Fox. To use them without permission is usually frowned upon, especially where there is financial gain involved.

In your case, however, this is obviously not the case. This is not to say that they "their lawyers" couldn't issue a cease and desist order against you and order you to remove said content from your web page(s).

I'm just advising you as a friend. Stranger things have happened to other well intentioned people before.

Good luck!
In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!

Well the place i got them from claimed they were free to use but to be on the safe side i went and found some public domain ones and used them instead. Everything else is being given credit to the page that has the image. The website is not finished so it has not been submitted to any search engines yet.

I am not a artist and won't even pretend to be one even if i wanted to be one i could not any more because my hands shake. So i have to use others works that are public domain and royalty free. The robots i used for chatbotfriends i bought. I cant afford to do that this time.

DemonRaven my friend:
The days of submitting sites to search engines is long gone, if google finds a link to your site on any page on the web it will follow the link and spider your site.

This tag comes in handy to stop search engines trawling your site, obviously remove the tag when your site is ready to be indexed. It should be placed in the <head> and on every page.

I think it looks great, the blue colour is nice and well done for getting the responsive part to work :)

As for copyrights I'd go with what Art said to be safe. I sometimes take the view that it is free advertising for them so they probably wont mind. Just so long as you don't start selling mugs with the graphics on or something like that.

Do you want me to add some links to our sites ?

Well i went to the actual site of where the mascar graphics were at and it said you could use it for free purposes but i swapped them out and replaced them anyway so they are gone.
Thanks for code data. Yes i am old and i forget that things have changed.
I still however dislike css it is way way to finicky. Errors of any sort screw up the way the site looks. But it is what is needed now so i am learning it.

All the links are in. It is not complete by any means but each section does finally have a few links each. I plan on adding more links and making it more comprehensive but it is up at least. This is the entrance site url http://aivirtualpetz.altervista.org/

I am going to be random for a min. It is really hard to do a website when you have a needy cat in your face demanding attention. lol
