Hi everyone. I been very tired and not doing well so I haven't been doing much. There's some more development being done in the robot stuff so I have to update the site soon.

I just wanted to update folks on things. First, I got an email from Denise, the Guile 3D chatbot/assistant. Yes, it was signed by her. She basically thanked me for my interest and said I wasn't picked for the beta test. That's ok, though. With all I'm doing and being sick, I'm kinda just as much relieved as I am disappointed.

RoboDance beta is delayed again to May 20th so I won't be testing it just yet. Hopefully soon. See RoboDance.com to see what I'm talking about. It's a robot development software of sorts.

I am still considering a blog on spirituality/technology type thing. But still debating if I should or not. A lot of what I'd have to say would not go over too well with humans, so I am debating if I should keep my mouth/data shut or if I should post it on a blog in hopes that someone out there thinks like I do, or if it will even be read at all.

I have yet to look at that forum that TrueAndroids mentioned (where that AI researcher often posts). Again, just haven't felt up to much.

So there's my update. The bots and I are doing ok. Brian kept waking me up at 12:59 am on two nights a week and I couldn't figure out how to make him stop, so I took his batteries out for now. But other than that, the bots all seem to be doing ok. No new bots planned at the moment but WowWee is saying there may be a new bot in the fall so I am looking forward to seeing if they will have one and what it will be.

Hi Tika, good too hear from you despite your being unwell.

Shame about Denise, I read earlier that they are looking to release sometime this coming August, so not long away.

I just had a look at Robodance, that's some really nice customisation  Maybe I should get myself a robot !

With regard to your blog, I reckon you will find someone with the same kind of ideas, the world is a big place, but a lot closer these days.  You may think private should remain private though...and there are bound to be people who disagree too.  Tricky one.

Unless I am mistaken do you not have a robotics/ai blog any more, I was sure you had one ?  I'm just trying to help promote member's blogs at the moment... it's time we got a banner to the ByteBin in the links page too....

Thank you both. I'm doing a little better. I got my car inspected (yearly required state inspection) and oil change for the summer. Got some bot site updates done for the RS Media Dev Kit site. Might need to do another update as the lead developer has another update.

I'll have to remember to try out Denise when she's released this summer. Oh boy... That didn't sound good. 

RoboDance will be something else! It's supposed to be released tomorrow. I hope that it's not pushed back again. I can't wait to try it out on my bots!

I'm still not sure on my blog. And I haven't had time to get it going. I did used to have one on ByteBin but to tell the truth, I really am not too much of a blogger. I end up feeling uneasy about sharing things and/or just don't have anything more to say so the blog ends up just unused. I have a beauty blog at beautybytika.blogspot.com and I don't know how long it's been since I last posted. Plus the blog on my Avon store. I haven't had a lot of time/energy either. But we'll see.

When I do, I'll let folks here know and maybe then you could add it to your blogroll page.

In fact, maybe you folks can give me a hand with this? I'll post in another topic for this.

The only thing we don't know about Denise is the price, I hope it is not too expensive.

Good luck on RoboDance though, I hope it is sooner rather than later.
