Yeah...watch some nasty virus come along and reduce it to a very expensive paper weight!

No...just kidding Mav! (I hope). Very nice job with the selections and the assembly!!

When you turn it on do the lights in your flat suddenly dim? Heh...heh....! :D ;D

Nice CPU heatsink and the reaper memory, very nice too.

The case looks pretty awesome, what a 850 watt psu, monster.  :o

IMO you did the right thing regarding not using onboard pants, sorry I mean sound.  :P

What ATI graphics card is that Mav, it looks very compact.

Looks good.

I've never seen a bottom mounted PSU before.

Nice case. Do I detect a fan on the top? Yes. Yes I do.

Case design makes cable management easy for you. Mine is somewhat cluttered, and I'm using those cheap plastic zip ties to bundle cables.

Nothing wrong with using old parts if they are functional and compatible. That's why I did in my build. It allowed me to upgrade to a top-tier CPU as well, and I'm glad I did it. (I used my hard disk and my optical drive from my old computer.)

Yeah that PSU is a monster, I had my eye on a similar one, same brand, but modular... will be pricey, but it comes with a 7 year guarantee so all in all a good thing imho.

I have two long hair cats, I wouldn’t be without them but their fluff gets into all my fans and as a result I have to take apart my PSU every few moths and remove all the fluff from the fan, The fans on the side of my case that put air into the PC have to be de-fluffed every week.

Not really much to do with this thread but I thought I would mention it.

Just curious...how does the heat output differ from a regular PSU if at all?

Why have the PSU with aforementioned heat located on the bottom of your
box?

Most I have seen were located at the top in order to help keep heat  related
issues to a minimum.

One can also never have too many fans drawing air across the boards.

Then there's water / glycol cooled designs much like a radiator in an auto.

Is your need for speed / performance game related?

Yes Art lol....

Gaming is my main PC use :)

And fan at bottom.....well...in this case there is a a vent at the bottom.....so the fan pushes air through this vent and staright out of the case....

On the case itself (if wasnt obvious)...front 120mm fan blows air in....side 200mm blows in....rear 80 blows out (as per normal spec) and the top 300mm blows out. I have the 2 fans set on the sink in the same direction flow (upwards) which blows stright into the top fan :)
