You could have a human control in a suit a huggggge android that can build tall skyscrapers and megastructures. It's just faster and bigger u, like the giant that helped build the large child fortress in jungle book (I made that up).

That acrobatic one Korrelan posted was on Facebook the other day, I was going to track it down, so cheers. On FB a fair proportion of people were adamant that it was CGI. This stuff is still filtering down to the masses.
