Scientists now have a meteorite fragment, which is a chondrite or stony meteorite that well, read the article.

Yes I read about this - how cool to own something like this.

When I was a child we found this strange 'rock' in the garden and it was put to one side for many years. It was only later in adult life that I found out it might be a meteorite. Of course, now I can't find it.

I watched a documentary on Hulu, the big thing was dark matter and now it seems we have dark energy, I think it is needed to make all the theories work.  Both the dark matter and dark energy is invisible.  The accelerators they are using for experiments cost billions of dollars I guess we as humans are fortunate to think about these things and try to make sense of them.

We have a TV show here called, "Prospectors", which is quite interesting (even if the cameraman is right there with them). While it is amazing how these men and women go though physical, emotional and monetary torture just to get these specimens, it likewise amazes me how much monetary value is placed on these "rocks" or gemstones. They would have remained buried for eons if not discovered by these adventurers. Some of their discoveries are quite beautiful, rare and ultimately, expensive! It is quite an educational show compared to some of those no-brainer shows.
