NWN 2
« on: September 21, 2006, 01:40:27 pm »
Ok Neverwinter Night 2 is not exactly AI as we often talk about, but there were elements in the original NWN.  NWN 2 is out anytime soon (they keep changing the release date) but is likely to incorporate AI as part of the monster habits and actions.

OK, that's enough of an excuse for me !  So how many of us gamers here are going to buy it (it will be a great game honest lol) and more importantly how many will be playing on line, because I have it in mind to set up a DG world for the game.

I know a lot of members play this kind of game and I'm always looking to play games with other people online, so what better place to ask  :grin

Never played NWN myself Freddy, don't even know what the game looks
like or the play involved. I used to play D&D on-line as well as in a home
group. Sorry.   :undecided  Plus I was one of the original DOOMies.  :azn

I think you would like NWN2 - it's D&D meets PC, the official version, and after playing for nearly a year, I doubt I will ever go bak to paper and pencil, though I have fond memories of nailing a few kobolds of an afternoon.  Seriouslyish though, it's about as good as you can get to the original game and well worth dusting down your broadsword for.

Gee! I don't know, I always used to wind up playing as a
Barbarian/half Orc with a club as my only defense.   :rofl
I think the guy who was the DM was having quite a joke
on me with that one.  :tickedoff  :2funny

I do still indulge in playing SOULBRINGER & TORMENT
although not so much recently.   :azn
