Off-topic experiment: Hobby'dev wiki
« on: June 29, 2018, 11:03:51 am »
Hi,

I set up a MediaWiki called Hobby'dev, right here: http://hobbydev.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Home

My original intent was to test MediaWiki, and ShoutWiki, which is a free hosting service (with ads), offering oven-ready MediaWikis. For now, it feels pretty good. Then I got "caught" in the game, and I'm beginning to like Hobby'dev (more than I probably should) .
 hop, banana.

Since my english is far from perfect, if you see some weird sentence or anything, please let me know so I can make it better. Thanks!

These are so minor, I hesitate to even post them.  But since you asked, "This month featured project is... Hobby'dev of course." could be, "This month the featured project is... Hobby'dev of course. "  or, "This month's featured project is... Hobby'dev of course. "

"for all kind of spare time software development projects" could be "for all kinds of spare time software development projects"

"It can be used as notepad, documentation tool, discussion thread, devlog, ...etc." could be "It can be used as a notepad, documentation tool, discussion thread, devlog, ...etc."

Zero, I think you can just ignore these suggestions, and it wouldn't matter.

Thanks a lot 8pla.net, that's very kind of you. I'll correct these (I'm a perfectionnist you know, everything needs to be perfect). :)

Im falling in love with this experiment, so I think I'll just keep it running! I've announced it on a few dev forums, and I've submitted it to Bing.

Dear friends of AiDreams, you're all invited to use Hobby'dev if it fits your needs, I'd be glad if you found it useful. Just put a little draft or two, to give a kick starter.

Ed: Btw, do you like the look'n feel?
