Old scifi films
« on: February 02, 2016, 09:09:20 am »
I was watching a old twilight zone show about a man who's house and car started terrorizing him. What i found interesting was that alot of the things shown in the show, things talking to him and self driving cars, are now possible. If someone from rome or the middle ages were to suddenly be yanked into our time period they would think that there was demons and magic going on. It strikes me funny that all the scifi of the past is now our present reality.
So sue me

Agreed and as the insightful writer, Arthur C. Clarke once wrote, 'Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.', that sort of confirms what you mentioned.
In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!
