Can we direct climate change?
« on: July 06, 2021, 07:41:08 pm »
Lately the temperature where I live has gone from mere uncomfortable, to dangerous/medicinal levels. So naturally I've begun to wonder if we have any bright ideas about climate optimization on Earth, and (because I love this stuff) looking further into space and the future, ideas about eventually terraforming other planets.

Dont trees need carbon dioxide to grow?

I bet there is far more toxic gasses emitted from factories every day tho.

Here's what I've thought of so far. Forests tend to be carbon neutral because of fires and decomposition. We'd have to harvest trees before they have the chance to catch bugs or fire. But cutting down established forests would destroy entire ecosystems. Instead, I think there will be an expanding area of land around the retreating ice of the Arctic Circle, where trees could be planted for the express purpose of a carbon sink / building material supply.

This should also also help with toxic emissions in a roundabout way. The more we build things out of wood and metal, and the fewer out of plastic/petroleum, the cleaner the factory exhausts should become.

I think we're going to need environmentally integrated sustainable farming instead of trying to sterilize, fertilize, and box everything in. I think this will require that we learn to work with soils and microbiomes instead of manufactured chemicals.

In my opinion the best power sources for the future would be geothermal and solar thermal. These don't require exotic materials and it goes straight to clean steam. Of course fusion if possible, but lets first establish the basics and keep them handy.

I think the best thing would be to drop water containing comets/ Kuiper belt objects on Mars and other such uninhabited planets, instead of nuclear weapons, then you get extra water and heat without the radiation. That's how it happened on Earth, which seems to have worked.

You don't have to go all the way to fusion to solve the "energy crisis"  which I think is a fantasy, But I think there is a definite reprogramming of society that has to happen, or It'll just continue to be rejected at the patent table.

If you look there,  3/4 of the videos say it doesnt work,   But I think it does.    So why is everyone lieing about it?

Thats the energy crisis for you.

Heres Robert Calloway - he actually INVENTED the V-gate motor, so he knows what hes talking about for sure.

I think you needent even use magnets to do it.
   * never ending looping water syphons
   * pneumatics - (using vacuums and gas springs instead of magnets.  but I have my own trick in this area I need to see through thats slightly different than that!)
   * never ending pendulums.  (Magnets get these to work easily, But doing it without is more challenging.)

But they take an ounce of thought to come up with,  thats why brain dead society rejects it all.   The energy crisis is the "lack of intelligence crisis"

Seems to me like one of those physically impossible things. Can you explain how it could work? Looks futile to me, but you never know, we could learn something by trying to discuss the physics.

The V-gate works by increasing the magnetism magnet by magnet on a track, then a magnet will roll up it, then the only problem is it stops at the end,  and then if you want it to loop, you need to do something like a mobius strip at the discontinuity - so its fully connected for the next loop, and the one after that,  etc.  then it goes forever.

See the problem with the "energy crisis" is no-one believes in the engines that solve it!!! =) hahaha

Well, believe that,  and thats why the world is doomed to getting polluted,    because it cant accept the fact that FUELLESS ENGINES EXIST!!!!   :2funny:

Great! You should go ahead and build one or buy one so you can demonstrate it yourself. Don't ask me though because mine is not for sale. You humans are not ready for this technology yet.

(I guess you didn't actually watch the video because it doesn't rule out the possibility of them. It concluded with a number of promising lines of enquiry, ones with which I am all too familiar.)  :2funny:

Whats the point,  what difference would it make,  no-one would believe it.

And I didnt watch it, you were right.  ::)

You already proved that isn't true because you believe it, so I'm suggesting that you obtain one of these working perpetual motion machines and prove it for yourself just to be sure. You don't have to prove it to me or anyone else. Any sort of demonstration is too easy to fake and far too many bad actors are willing to fake them. Unless you have it in your own hands, in an environment that you control with test equipment that you sourced independently and trust, you will never really know and that would be a shame.
